Day 15 : Green Smoothie Challenge

Rawkin Berry Green Smoothie

Surprisingly not the greatest … even with the berries and banana.  I used spinach instead of dandelion greens and no seeds or Spirulina.  All I used was 1/2 strawberries, 1/2 blueberries, lime, banana and spinach.  Nothing too outrageous, so I’m not sure why it didn’t all come together??  I was really expecting it to be similar to yesterdays Strawberry Orange Basil Green Smoothie. I did use half Coconut Almond Milk and 1/2 water (ran out of milk :))  — perhaps that was the issue…

Rawkin Berry Green Smoothie

1 Cup Frozen Berries
3 Leaves of Dandelion Greens or about 1 Cup Loosely packed
½ Lime
1 tsp. Hemp or Chia Seeds
1 Frozen Banana*optional if you want it sweet
1 tsp. Spirulina *optional
1 Cup Coconut Water or Water

Instructions: Wash all your produce. Chop and put into blender with a small amount of liquid to start. Add more as needed until you reach your desired consistency.
